We asked Lynn Moore, VP of Customer Service what she like best about the new ‘live chat’ feature, she said ” We love how fast we can answer questions. It is amazing how quickly each member of the chat team can help three or four customers at one time. It’s just like chatting with friends online, we can interact with several customers at once and help track down books.”
“Customers love it” Moore added. “Many of the customers who use this service contacted us via email in the past. Due to the volume of emails we receive, it can take as long as 24 to 48 hours to send a return message. But, when customers need something that can be looked up very quickly, like a tracking number or cost of a rental, the chat team can get that answered in just a few moments.” Moore went on to say “customers have also expressed how glad they are to have another option than calling or emailing our CSR department. Students can ‘talk’ faster with their fingers!”
